First Down Program Registration

Specifically developed for younger children to develop fundamental movement skills like running, throwing, catching and kicking among children under the age of eight.

The First Down Program consists of 8 fun-filled sessions in August and September with skills, drills and activities to help develop the fundamental movement skills for the healthy, physical development of children, all in a fun and exciting football environment.

Registration

First Down Program registration is administered by Football Canada.

Registration for this program will be available on June 1, 2024.

Kidsport Canada provides funds to help offset the cost of participant registration fees for community based sport programs.

*Volunteer Hours Commitment To provide much needed support for all team activities throughout the year, 4 hours of volunteer work per registered player is requested. If the volunteer hours commitment is not fulfilled, a pre-authorize amount of $200 will be paid to the Mustangs Football organization. Pre-authorized credit card transactions or cheques are acceptable.
