2017 Mustangs Coaching Application Forms Now Available!

The 2017 football season is fast approaching! and the St. Vital Mustangs Football Club invites all returning, new, and prospective coaches/managers/trainers to complete and return the Coaches Application form.

Please note, Football Manitoba requires all coaches to have the following certifications:

1.·Respect in Sport –·free online course through Coaching Manitoba

2.·Making Headway –·free online concussion management course

3.·Safe Contact –·an 8 hour in-person workshop on teaching the Safe Contact
contact, tackling and blocking method.

If you have not completed these courses, that does not mean you cannot be part of a staff! There is still plenty of time to complete them, and there will be several courses offered before the season starts, including the Winnipeg Blue Bombers coaches super clinic, which will take place in April at IGF. We would be happy to guide you though any questions you have about coaching, certifications or any other aspect of our organization.

Early completion of these forms helps us to staff each of the teams well in advance of the season start dates. In return, this allows the coaches more time to plan and communicate with their team players, coaches, and families.
If you have any questions or concerns about any aspect of becoming a coach with the Mustangs, please contact  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it at your earliest convenience.
