mustangs take the plunge for special olympics
About the Plunge
On Saturday March 16th at 2:30 PM, 12 players and coaches from the 2018 St. Vital Mustangs Midget Football team will be at Investors Group Field representing our club at the 2019 Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Manitoba. They are asking for your support.
The Polar Plunge involves teams and individuals braving the weather together by jumping into an ice cold pool of water in support of this great cause.
Our Midget Mustangs have won back-to-back Provincial Championships at IGF and are now returning for something completely different by representing our club at this charity event. They've formed TWO full teams of 6 members and will bring a Sea of Red to IGF for this frigid challenge. All players and coaches will be decked out in full Mustangs uniform tops and pants and would greatly appreciate your support by way of a donation. The Special Olympics fundraising goal is $100 per entrant and let's show what our Mustang family is made of and try to reach this goal with one week to go. It appears no football club has every entered a team in support of this cause so let's help our young men out with a donation as they make some history. All are welcome to come out and watch it in person or check it out through our social media feeds.
